The Story in Brief
George Ivers just wants to nap in his recliner and enjoy a quiet turkey dinner with his wife. What he gets is a circus: the doorbell rings like a car alarm and distant relatives materialize out of nowhere. George, part Archie Bunker, part Fred Flintstone, with a dash of Mr. Magoo, resorts to half-baked (and usually backfiring) schemes to reclaim his home.
Between a dishwasher rebellion, a grocery store showdown, and sidesplitting family drama, George discovers the cold truth: you don’t host Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving hosts you.
